Metro Board to Meet with NTSB Members - The Metro Board of Directors and members of the National Transportation Safety Board will meet at 2:30 pm on Monday, August 9, at Metro headquarters. The groups will discuss last week‚s NTSB findings and recommendations related to the June 22, 2009, accident. The meeting will be held at Metro headquarters, 600 Fifth Street, NW, in downtown Washington.

Rockville Councilmember Gajewski to Host Townhall Meeting Aug. 19 - Rockville City Councilmember Piotr Gajewski will host a Townhall meeting on Thursday, Aug. 19, at 8 pm in the Mayor and Council chambers at Rockville City Hall. The agenda for the meeting will include a discussion of recent Mayor and Council action items, as well as an open forum for residents to ask questions or share their views on Rockville-related issues and projects.
