NEW YORK - Rookie pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg is getting noticed -- by David Letterman. Strasburg's 14-strikeout major league debut for the Washington Nationals earned him a spot on Letterman's show last night. Letterman jokes that he knows baseball because his spent seven years as a scout in the Dominican Republic. Strasburg did a Top-10 list of "Little Known Facts About Stephen Strasburg." Among the highlights: Number 5, "Dumb guys think I directed 'E.T."' Number 3, "I blew my signing bonus on laser back hair removal." And Number 1, "If I would have known I'd be on Letterman, I wouldn't have pitched so well."
