Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will host the ninth annual County Executive’s Excellence in the Arts and Humanities Awards program. Awards will be presented in the following categories: Lifetime Achievement, Community, Education, Emerging Leader, Outstanding Artist/Scholar and Volunteer. Additionally, a special Lifetime Impact Award will be presented to Carol Trawick. The event is free and open to the public. In addition to the presentation of awards, the evening will include performances and entertainment by local arts organizations and a dessert reception.
